Introduction
The Awesome Library is a public service. Limited banner ads are accepted to help make the service self-sufficient. Resources from these sources, along with funds from the Library Bookstore, are used to maintain and expand the Awesome Library. Licenses are also available to use the Awesome Library database on your own Web site, with your logos and ads.
Market Segment
Our Web site is used mostly by teachers of K-12 education. Students, parents, and librarians are also significant users of our services. The banner ads offer unusually high visibility to K-12 teachers who are leaders in adopting Internet technology for eduation.
Banner Ad Rates

License Rates

Traffic
As of March of 2000, the Awesome Library was averaging over 460,000 pageviews or impressions from 185,000 visitors (unique sites) per month. Traffic is monitored and reported independently by Webalizer 1.30
Advertising Materials Submission Policies
Advertising materials are due at least three days prior to the start date and must comply with the specifications below. When sending images, please be sure to include the complete URL of the accompanying link, as well as any appropriate ALT text for the advertising image.
Accepted Image Formats
We accept images in the GIF format only. We do not accept animated images. For standardization purposes, we do not accept ads that incorporate Java, Shockwave, Future Splash, video, sound, or any other multimedia format. We do not accept MAP files. Images should incorporate the safety palette. We will be happy to assist with optimizing GIF images so that they fit within the requirements.
Image Sizes and Dimensions
The full-size banner ad is 234 pixels wide by 60 pixels high and 3k file size. We do allow some flexibility.
Restrictions
The Awesome Library does not accept advertising requests from organizations selling products or services related to alcohol, tobacco, gambling, firearms, or adult material.
